The End.

It's goodbye from me

Ahoy,

For the past year I have written at least one newsletter a week to an audience that reached nearly two and a half thousand people.

In November I stopped all forms of advertisement.

By January the reader count dropped to a thousand.

And today we have around 850 readers.

Between January and now the average read rate is over 70%.

So while the number of subscribers has dropped, those of you that stayed have read an awful lot of what I’ve put out into the world.

That means, since January, between 600 to 700 people a week have been reading what I have to say about leadership.

600 people a week trusted my experiences and insights to help improve their leadership.

That is an unbelievable honour.

I love writing, and specifically, I’ve loved writing this newsletter.

While I’m sharing my reflections with you, the process of writing forces me to compose my thoughts in a more precise way. Doing so has improved my understanding 10 fold.

Unfortunately I’m now at a point where I need to direct my focus elsewhere.

While I love writing it, I no longer have the time to do it justice.

If I’m going to put something out to the world, I want it to be something that I’m proud of. Not something that I’ve hastily put together because I have a deadline.

So what does this all mean?

The Silent Leadership business will cease to exist. However, I may on occasion still send out a post here or there.

Like I said, I love writing this newsletter. But the commitment is too great amongst my other priorities to keep it consistent.

I would love to hear back from you.

Drop me an email, what have you learned? What have you enjoyed? Your thoughts on the end of Silent Leadership?

I hope that some of you stick around to see what I push out in the future.

But until next time, thanks so much for reading.

I hope you have a great day.

Reece
